Bettina Moltrecht, PhD, serves as a Senior Research Fellow at UCL since October 2021 and at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families since February 2017. With a focus on the relationship between emotion regulation and psychopathology, Bettina analyzes data from national cohort studies and has conducted clinical research on inter-generational mental health factors at the University of Oxford. Bettina also holds a visiting lecturer position in Positive Psychology at the Center for European Studies, Maastricht University, and previously directed psychology and research initiatives at Paradym, developing an evidence-based mental health app. Early career experience includes clinical psychology roles at LWL-Klinik Lengerich and LVR Klinik Viersen, alongside research and education positions at various institutions. Bettina earned a PhD in Evidence-based mental health from UCL, along with multiple degrees in psychology and neuroscience from respected universities.
