Nicholas Brüss

Nicholas Brüss is an experienced MDMA researcher and therapist currently involved with multiple organizations in the psychedelic medicine field. As a therapist in the FDA Phase III clinical trial of MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD at the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), Nicholas contributes to groundbreaking research. In addition, Nicholas serves as the Director of Psychedelic Medicine Advocacy at TREAT California, focusing on securing funding for mental health initiatives. Other roles include co-founding and leading training at the Psychedelic Coalition for Health and serving as a clinical supervisor for MDMA therapy at Lykos Therapeutics. Nicholas is also engaged with TheraPsil, Compass Pathways, and maintains a long-standing practice as a psychotherapist with a focus on Internal Family Systems therapy. Past experience includes strategic engagement at the La Maida Project and teaching compassion cultivation at Stanford University. Nicholas holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
