Emily S. is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in child and adolescent mental health. Currently serving as a Senior Research Fellow at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families since August 2015, Emily has contributed significantly to various research initiatives, including the IMPACT-ME study focusing on therapy experiences for depression. Prior roles include Research Fellow at UCL from June 2019 to July 2022, and PhD Student at UCL from September 2012 to September 2015. Earlier, Emily worked as a Research Assistant at both the Anna Freud National Centre and UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, engaging in studies on therapy outcomes and healthy lifestyle programs. Emily's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Psychology from UCL and an MSc in Research Methods in Psychology, complemented by a BSc in Psychology from Lancaster University.
