Sooj Y. (Soojin)

Sooj (Soojin) Y. started their work experience in 2008 as a Legal Specialist at Fisher and Shapiro, LLC. In 2010, they joined Starcom as a Media Associate and later became a Technology & Data Operations Manager. Sooj (Soojin) then moved to SQAD LLC in 2015 and held various roles including Client Success Engineer and SQL Analyst/Senior Client Service Manager. Sooj took a career sabbatical from 2022 to 2023 before joining Bluebonnet Data as a Data Science Fellow. Currently, they are a Data Engineer at Annalect. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in translating between technical and non-technical worlds, troubleshooting errors, and developing features for media planning and data solutions.

Sooj (Soojin) Y. obtained an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology from 2020 to 2021. Prior to this, they completed a Master of Arts (MA) in Organizational Communication and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from DePaul University.

In addition to their formal education, Sooj also holds various certifications. Sooj (Soojin) completed the "Complete Python Bootcamp" from Udemy in April 2023 and the "Probability & Statistics Master" from Udemy in March 2022. Sooj (Soojin) obtained the "Advanced Statistical Inference" certification from the Quantic School of Business and Technology in October 2021, followed by the "Decentralized Applications" certification in September 2021. Sooj also acquired the "AB Testing For Marketers" certification in June 2021 and the "Project Management" certification in March 2021, both from the Quantic School of Business and Technology. Sooj (Soojin)'scertifications also include the "Advanced Agile and Scrum (PMI8 Contact Hours)" from Udemy in August 2020.

Furthermore, Sooj has completed a course on data science from Cognitive Class powered by IBM Developer Skills Network in October 2016. Sooj (Soojin) has also obtained a certification in SQL from Girl Develop It, although the specific details regarding the month and year are unknown.
