Tanya Rakpraja

Tanya Rakpraja is Head of Corporate Responsibility and Government Relations at Annaly. Ms. Rakpraja has over 20 years of experience working in finance, economic development, and public policy. Prior to joining Annaly in 2018, Ms. Rakpraja served as Senior Director at Capital Impact Partners, a national Community Development Financial Institution that lends to underinvested communities. Prior to that, Ms. Rakpraja was at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York where she designed and managed a number of the financial market facilities established during the financial crisis, including the Agency MBS Purchase Program and the Agency Debt Purchase Program. Ms. Rakpraja received a B.A from Brown University and an M.P.A from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs.
