Personal Q&A

  • How do you like to receive feedback?

I like clear feedback. I don't want sugar coating, I don't want hints, I don't want a waste of time. Clear and direct communication, especially feedback, is essential to making an effective team.

  • When are you most productive during the day?

Not during the day, but at night. Its something that Ive actually been trying to change since its awful for my sleep schedule, but I'm a night owl. After school after dinner, before bed, ' I'm able to get on and get it done. I'm always productive, but especially at night.

  • Can you describe a typical day of yours?

I usually am woken up at 7 by my dog (even on weekends). I go on a jog with her to get the day started. Then, it varies from day to day. School, class, meetings, events, fundraisers, and more. I try to be home around 6 to have dinner with my family, then call my friends while I do work online, then go to bed (unless I decide to binge The West Wing then I'll be up till 3)

  • How do you like to run meetings?

First off, I prefer to have meetings in person rather than online. I find its much more effective for communication and developing ideas and keeping everyone involved. I like to start off by greeting my team and doing some introductions if necessary, and briefly go over the list of topics that will be discussed, and also go over our upcoming goals. Then, move through the plan piece by piece discussing and collaborating for each topic. At then end, wrap up and answer and last questions, then plan the next meeting, as well as re-address our teams goals.
