Kat Schorr

Kat Schorr currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Student Achievement and Success Program (SASP) and Military/Veteran Resources at Anne Arundel Community College, where responsibilities include providing comprehensive support to diverse student populations, including ethnic or racial minorities, first-generation students, military members, and others. Previous roles at the college include Program Manager for the Military/Veteran Resource Center, Student Success and Retention Advisor, adjunct instructor for both credit and non-credit courses focused on career development in STEM fields, and Retention Specialist for the School of Science and Technology. Additionally, Kat Schorr contributed content for HigherEdMilitary and served as Coordinator of Student Affairs and Program Manager at the University of Southern Maine. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Southern Maine, a Veterans Counseling Certificate, and certification as a Professional Resume Writer.
