Michael Sawdey

Michael Sawdey is a Supervisory Epidemiologist at the FDA's Center for Tobacco Products since July 2017, previously serving as an Epidemiologist within the same center. Additionally, Michael has been an Adjunct Faculty member in Public Health at Anne Arundel Community College since January 2018. Prior experience includes roles as a Doctoral Candidate and Trainee and Research Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University from August 2013 to May 2017, and as a Research Technician at San Diego State University. Michael's earlier positions include Graduate Assistant at the California Department of Public Health and Research Assistant at the SDSU Research Foundation. Michael holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Epidemiology from Virginia Commonwealth University (2017), a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from San Diego State University (2012), and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from San Diego State University (2010).
