Vita Chalk

Vita Chalk, Ph.D., currently serves as the Nursing and Health Sciences Program Navigator at Anne Arundel Community College, focusing on career and program pathway education, program recruitment, and student success in healthcare training. Previously, Chalk held various administrative roles at George Mason University, including Associate Dean of Undergraduate Academic Affairs in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, where responsibilities included managing student grievances and academic requests. Chalk's academic career includes adjunct professorships at Germanna and Piedmont Virginia Community Colleges, and research experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
