Jayne Walters

Jayne Walters is a dedicated librarian with extensive experience in library services and management. Currently serving as a Librarian at Anne Arundel County Public Library since June 2023, Jayne assists patrons with recommendations, catalog searches, and evaluates the library's collection. Prior experience includes a role as Branch Manager at The Indianapolis Public Library, where responsibilities included managing the branch, hiring, training, and mentoring staff. Jayne also has experience as a Public Service Associate at The Indianapolis Public Library, providing similar patron support, and as a Volunteer at Johnson County Public Library, where involvement included multimedia advocacy and programming for teens. Additionally, Jayne has a background in team leadership from Citadel Architectural Products, Inc. Jayne holds a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies from Indiana University Indianapolis and an Associate's Degree in Library and Information Science from Ivy Tech Community College.
