Maureen Higgins has extensive experience in financial management and accounting, with a career spanning several decades. Currently, Maureen serves as part-time Information Staff at Anne Arundel County Public Library since February 2016, while also being retired from a long tenure at Anne Arundel County, where Maureen held various positions including Revenue Collection Manager, Cash & Debt Manager, and Accountant II over a 24-year period. Prior to this, Maureen worked as a Senior Accountant at Arcata Graphics, a Staff Accountant at National CSS / D & B Computing, and a Bookkeeper at Golf Digest. Maureen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business & Economics from Marymount College and a Certificate in financial accounting from Anne Arundel Community College, complemented by an Associate degree in Liberal Arts from CT State Norwalk.
