Brandon Mitchell

Physician at Anne Arundel Dermatology

Dr. Mitchell grew up in the Piedmont area of North Carolina and graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society. He remained in Chapel Hill to complete his internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Dermatology where he served as chief resident in his final year. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is board certified in dermatology.

Before joining Anne Arundel Dermatology, Dr. Mitchell served as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. While at GWU, Dr. Mitchell served as the director of cutaneous oncology and director of surgical education. He enjoyed teaching residents and medical students and was honored to receive the Teacher of the Year award.

Dr. Mitchell practices both general medical and surgical dermatology. He has a particular interest in melanoma and early skin cancer detection.
