Tammy Cheater

Nurse Practitioner at Anne Arundel Dermatology

Tammy joins Anne Arundel Dermatology after working as a nurse practitioner in Urgent Care, where she treated many dermatological conditions, and completing a fellowship with Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) following the receipt of her master’s degree in nursing. Tammy worked as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care, endocrinology, cardiology, and orthopedics while at AAMC, and also possesses extensive experience in pediatrics, having worked for fifteen years as a neonatal and pediatric emergency room nurse.

Tammy received her Bachelors of Nursing degree from the Medical College of Georgia, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University, and her Masters of Nursing degree from Walden University. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing, is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and is fully qualified to practice independently in the state of Maryland.

Tammy is passionate about dermatological care and looks forward to treating patients of all ages in the Prince Frederick community.
