Arin Damar

Arin Damar is an experienced insurance professional currently serving as the Head of Private Flood MGA at Annex Risk since January 2024. Damar has also contributed as a volunteer at InsurTech NY since August 2020 and previously held the position of Product Lead at Hippo Insurance from September 2020 to December 2023, managing the private flood business line and supporting various MGA verticals as Chief of Staff. Prior experience includes roles at Freddie Mac from May 2012 to September 2020, where Damar developed the global insurance/reinsurance program and mortgage insurance program IMAGIN, as well as launching the Capital Markets Analyst and Internship programs. Damar holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from the University of Maryland.
