Jamie Dananberg

Jamie Dananberg currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Annexon Biosciences, a position held since July 2023, where leading the Development Organization is a primary responsibility. Previously, Jamie held the role of Chief Medical Officer at Unity Biotechnology from January 2016 to April 2023, overseeing medical and development activities. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Vice President and Head of Therapeutic Areas at Takeda Pharmaceuticals from August 2012 to October 2015, where non-oncology therapeutic areas were the focus. Jamie also worked at Eli Lilly and Company from October 2000 to September 2012, holding positions such as Vice President of Translational Medicine and Executive Director of Clinical Pharmacology. Earlier in career, Jamie was a Senior Medical Director in Endocrinology and an Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan from 1983 to 1996. Jamie Dananberg earned a Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tufts University.
