Charles Shapiro is a seasoned software and data science engineer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies since 1989. Currently employed at ANNUITAS as a Data Science Engineer, Charles specializes in software development using Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS, focusing on integrations with marketing and administration systems via REST APIs. Previous roles include serving as a GIS and Data Quality Specialist at Spatial Focus Inc, a Software Engineer at Prium, and a Sr. Software Engineer in several organizations, including Turner Games Network and Harbinger EDI. Charles has a background in developing server-side programs and maintaining software development environments, complemented by a BA in Classical Languages from Carleton College.
