Long Nguyen

Long Nguyen is a Data Science Engineer at Paidy since January 2023, with prior experience as a Fraud Data Scientist at Techcombank from November 2021 to March 2023, focusing on end-to-end data science projects to predict and prevent banking fraud. Significant projects include the development of a document liveness check to assess image validity. Previously, Long spent nearly nine years at Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd, transitioning from a Software Development Engineer to a Business Analyst and finally serving as a Senior Data Analyst, where end-to-end projects enhanced support in manufacturing domains, including false alarm reduction and inspection systems. Long holds a Master’s degree in Computer Software Engineering from FPT University and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
