Athina Totomi

Athina Totomi has been working in the field of biotechnology since 2015. Athina began their career at Anocca AB, where they held the positions of Head of Cell Engineering, Scientist, and Bioengineer. In 2015, they also began working at Karolinska Institutet as part of the Center for Hematology and Regenerative Medicine.

Athina Totomi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biological Applications and Technologies from the University of Ioannina, Greece between 2002 and 2008. Athina then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and Genetics applications - Diagnostic markers from the University of Thessaly between 2009 and 2011. Athina has also obtained two additional certifications from Coursera, "Project Initiation and Planning" in November 2021 and "Initiating and Planning Projects" in September 2021.
