Mike Nyhart

Mike Nyhart is currently a Barista at Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. since May 2022. Prior to this role, Mike served as a Field Mentor at New Vision Wilderness from November 2019 to May 2022, and as Backcountry Manager at Philmont Scout Ranch during the summer of 2019. Additional experience includes working as a Trail Builder 1 at Johnson County Parks and Rec from January 2019 to May 2019, and in various capacities at Philmont Scout Ranch from May 2017 to November 2018, including Autumn Backcountry Warehouse and Camp Director. Earlier in the career, Mike worked as a Bicycle Mechanic and Outdoor Specialist at Pathfinder Outdoor and Bike Specialist from October 2015 to May 2018. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Kansas State University (2014-2018) and is pursuing a Master of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from August 2023 to August 2025.

Born in 1999, Anodyne Coffee Roasting Company is a locally owned, small batch roaster proudly working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Our coffee is roasted, packaged, and delivered daily by our dedicated team of passionate roasters. We don’t pre-package any of our coffee. Each bag is labeled and filled for each individual order.
