Nicki Magaard

Nicki Magaard has extensive experience in educational leadership and counseling, currently serving as an Assistant Principal in the Anoka-Hennepin School District since August 2011. In addition to roles as Interim Assistant Principal and Q-Comp Peer Evaluator/Coach, Nicki functioned as the sole school counselor at a middle school with 1,150 students, while also leading district-wide counseling initiatives, budgeting, and staff development for over 30 counselors. Previous positions include Summer School Principal at Roosevelt Middle School, School Counselor at Rum River Special Education Cooperative, and Intervention Specialist at Chisago Lakes School District. Nicki holds a Sixth Year Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration from St. Cloud State University, a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from St. Cloud State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota.
