Derek Higgs

Derek Higgs is an experienced Android Developer currently working at Anonyome Labs, Inc. since June 2023, focusing on developing Android applications. Previously, Derek contributed to the Volley video messaging app at Volley from November 2020 to April 2023, notably reducing load time by 9%. Prior experiences include programming the Cake browser app at Cake Technologies, Inc. and developing the Banyan Pro app for iOS and Android at Banyan Inc. Derek also has a background in developing the Brandr app at Studio Design and Xbox dashboard games at Wahoo Studios, along with earlier roles in education and gaming. Derek holds a Master's degree in Video Game Engineering from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from Southern Utah University.
