Marco Amador

Marco Amador is a Senior Engineering Manager at Anova since May 2020, where management of the Data Engineering, Platform, and SRE Team is emphasized through a hands-on approach. Previously, Marco served as Chapter Lead, delivering talks at prominent events such as KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2022 and GitOps Days 2022. As a Principal Engineer at Anova, responsibilities included architecting and building cloud-native platforms across various industries. Prior experiences include roles as Tech Lead for Data Engineering at Veniam, Senior Software Engineer at Meltwater, and co-founder of Maisis, showcasing a robust background in software engineering, data pipelines, and product development. Early career experience includes software development at both Altice Labs and HP OpenView. Marco holds a Licentiate degree in Computer Science Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto and Instituto Superior de Tecnologias Avançadas do Porto, respectively.
