Pierre de Souffron

Pierre de Souffron is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in academic program coordination and scientific project management. Currently serving as a Scientific Project Officer at ANR, the French National Research Agency since July 2017, Pierre has been actively involved in scientific, administrative, and financial oversight of research partnerships since January 2018. Additionally, Pierre has been a Program Coordinator at EPIDE since September 2015 and an Event Coordinator with the Association Parlementaire Européenne and RETE IHEE since August 2013, where Pierre successfully established partnerships and organized seminars focused on the EU-Mediterranean relationship. Prior experience includes serving as an Expert for the Council of Europe, focusing on higher education partnerships related to Holocaust remembrance, and roles at Institut Télécom Physique de Strasbourg and the French embassy in the United States, where Pierre coordinated international programs and established key academic collaborations. Pierre holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Strasbourg.
