Vitor Teixeira Msc

Vitor Teixeira MSc PhD serves as a Visiting Research EMBO Fellow at the Weizmann Institute of Science since February 2023 and has been an FCT Junior Investigator and Project Leader at i3S - Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde since May 2018, focusing on the physiology of lipid droplets in cellular lipid metabolism and disease. Vitor is also involved in consultancy services for project peer review with the French National Research Agency and the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, and holds the position of Invited Assistant Professor at ICBAS, where Vitor teaches biochemistry courses. Previously, Vitor worked as a Technology Consultant at PreScouter Global Scholars, a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford, and conducted research at IBMC.INEB and during early academic roles in biophysics and immunology. Vitor holds extensive certifications in health and safety and aims to advance biomedical research for better health outcomes.
