Anthony Gifford

Anthony Gifford has over 15 years of work experience. Anthony currently holds the position of Head of Research and Development (Services) at ANS Group since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Bid and Services Development and Bid and Services Development Manager at ANS Group from April 2022 to August 2023 and August 2021 to April 2022, respectively. Before joining ANS Group, Anthony worked as a Bid and Framework Manager at ANS Group from May 2019 to August 2021. Anthony also worked as a Bid Manager at ANS Group from April 2017 to May 2019, where they managed the tender/bid process and coordinated various teams.

Before their time at ANS Group, Anthony worked as a Bid Writer at AHR from November 2015 to March 2017. Anthony played a crucial role in implementing a formalized bid process and developed strategic processes for quality responses. Prior to AHR, they worked as a Bid Writer at Mitie from April 2011 to November 2015. In this role, they were responsible for producing and designing ITT, PQQ, and RFP/I submissions.

Their earlier work experience includes roles such as Group Coordinator and Technical Administrator at Buro Happold, eLearning Coordinator at British Computer Society, Membership Support Officer at RNIB, and various production coordinator and manager roles as a freelancer. Additionally, Anthony worked as a Telephone Fundraiser at Pell and Bales from 2003 to 2005.

Anthony Gifford attended the Mark Rutherford Upper School and Community College from 1994 to 1997. During this time, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Later on, from 2009 to 2016, Anthony Gifford enrolled in The Open University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Business with Law.
