Alexandre Dixon

Senior Scientist, Process Chemistry at Ansa Biotechnologies

Alex earned his Ph.D. from Syracuse University, where he specialized in organic/organometallic reaction methodology. After completing his Ph.D., Alex began his postdoctoral studies at Washington State University, where he studied dye chemistry, supramolecular assembly, and single-molecule fluorescence techniques. Alex then began his industrial career at Omniome, Inc. (acquired by Pacific Biosciences in 2021), where he developed nucleotide/dye-related chemistries and optimized reagent formulations for DNA sequencing applications. Today, Alex brings his expertise in nucleotide development and application to Ansa’s growing chemistry team.
