Senior Scientist In Protein Engineering at Ansa Biotechnologies

Corwin Miller is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in protein engineering and synthetic biology. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Ansa Biotechnologies, Inc., since August 2022, Corwin applies rational design and evolutionary approaches to enhance proteins for enzymatic DNA synthesis. Previously, Corwin held the position of Research Scientist at Rice University, leading synthetic biology projects and developing microbial biosensor methods. As Chief Scientist and Co-Founder at Drugshoppe, Corwin focused on small molecule drug design and secured funding through investor interactions. Educational qualifications include a Postdoctoral Training in Synthetic Biology from Yale University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from Rice University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from The University of the South.
