Kalawattie Datt-Singh has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Kalawattie started their career as a Pharmacist at Mike's Ph in 2000 and worked there until 2007. In 2011, they worked as a Sales Representative at the International Pharmaceutical Agency. From 2012 to 2018, Kalawattie worked as a Medical Representative at The ANSA McAL Group. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Institutional Business Manager at the same company and held this position until 2022. Currently, Kalawattie is working as the Business Unit Head - Health & Wellness at The ANSA McAL Group. Additionally, they have taken on the role of President at the Caribbean Association of Pharmacists (CAP) since 2021.
Kalawattie Datt-Singh's education history begins in 1995, when they attended the University of Guyana to pursue an associate's degree in Medical Technology. Kalawattie completed this program in 1998. Following this, from 1998 to 2000, they returned to the University of Guyana to pursue another associate's degree, this time in Pharmacy. After a gap of several years, they resumed their education in 2013 and attended the University of Guyana once again, this time completing a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from 2013 to 2015. Most recently, in 2017 to 2018, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Studies from the University of Bedfordshire Business School.
