Ivan Monti

Ivan Monti has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Ivan first worked at Softjam spa as a System Engineer from the year 2000 until 2002. Ivan then moved on to Costa Crociere, where they served as a Senior System Engineer from 2003 to 2006. Afterwards, Ivan joined Neo Network as an IT Manager, overseeing organization and team management, network design, and data center management. Ivan worked there from 2006 to 2008. Ivan returned to Costa Crociere and took on various roles, including Senior System Engineer, Solution & Architecture Designer, and IT Architect. During this time, they were responsible for server consolidation, virtual infrastructure design, disaster recovery, and virtual desktop infrastructure. Ivan'smost recent position was with Ansaldo Energia, where they served as the CISO & Head of IT Infrastructure Operations. In this role, they worked closely with executive management to assess and mitigate risks, manage security incidents, and protect corporate IT and information assets.

Ivan Monti studied at Politecnico di Torino from 2006 to 2010, pursuing a degree in Information and Communication Technologies Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following: VMware Certified Advanced Professional 5 - Data Center Design (VCAP5-DCD) in 2014, VMware Certified Professional - Cloud in 2013, VMware Certified Professional 5 - Desktop in 2013, VMware Certified Professional on vSphere 5 (VCP 5) in 2012, VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Datacenter Administration - (VCAP-DCA) in 2011, VMware Certified Professional (VCP 4) in 2009, and Microsoft Certified Professional in 2000.
