Shannon Reece has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Shannon began their career as a Freelance Designer at Convergence Design House in 2012 and later worked as a Sustainability Design Consultant at Mud Hut Lab from 2013 to 2020. Shannon also served as a Sustainable Building Consultant at BranchPattern for a year in 2018-2019. In 2017, Shannon transitioned to the fitness industry and worked as a Fitness Trainer at Move By Design until 2020. Shannon then joined Lowe's Companies, Inc. as a Visual Merchandiser from 2020 to 2021. Most recently, Shannon held the positions of Art Instructor at Hannibal-LaGrange University from 2021 to 2022 and currently works as a Project Designer/Art Director at Answers in Genesis since August 2022. Throughout their career, Shannon has gained expertise in various roles, including designing, teaching, and consulting.
Shannon Reece has a diverse education history. Shannon obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Sustainable Design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in the years 2015-2016. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Industrial and Product Design from The Art Institutes between 1995 and 1997. Shannon's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Marketing Communications & Graphic Design from Hannibal-LaGrange University, which they completed from 1989 to 1992. Shannon also holds a High School Diploma from Mark Twain High School, which they received in 1989.

In August 2018, Shannon obtained a certification as a Fitwel Ambassador from the Fitwel Certification System and a Group Personal Training Specialist certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
