Anthony Dawson

Anthony Dawson is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering, product management, and customer excellence. At Ansys since September 2011, Anthony has held multiple leadership roles including VP of Ansys Customer Excellence, VP & GM of Product, and Sr. Director of Product Operations for the Materials Business Unit. Prior to that, Anthony worked as a Research Scientist/Engineer for the United States Department of Defense, specializing in high explosives modeling and simulation. Additionally, Anthony co-founded CurveSet LLC to promote healthy eating initiatives in educational institutions and served as a Research Associate at the Institute for Advanced Technology, focusing on hypervelocity impact phenomena. Early career experience includes technical roles at The University of Texas at Austin, where Anthony contributed to hydrodynamic simulations. Anthony holds a Master of Science in Computational and Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
