Doug Shi-Dong

Doug Shi-Dong possesses extensive experience in software development and engineering, with a focus on aerospace and advanced technology. Currently serving as an R&D Engineer specializing in Adjoint Solver at Ansys, Doug previously held positions as a Software Development Engineer for Last Mile Tech at Amazon and as a 3D C++ Software Developer at Align Technology. Additional experience includes an internship at BOMBARDIER as an Advanced Aerodynamic Intern and a role as a Numerical Methods Teaching Assistant at McGill University. Doug earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aerospace from McGill University in 2021, following a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aerospace obtained in 2017.
