Robin Steed

Robin Steed has extensive experience in engineering and technical management, primarily with Ansys since October 2000, holding various roles including Lead Research and Development Engineer and Lead Technical Product Manager. Prior positions include CFD Coordinator at RWDI and Research Assistant at the National Research Council, where notable work involved finite element analysis of turbine disks and the behavior of Ti-Al alloys. Robin's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Mechanical from Carleton University, an MBA concentrating on Management & Organizational Behaviour from the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Carleton University. Additional early career experience includes roles as a Craftsman at Current Designs and a Raft Guide and Safety Boater at Wilderness Tours.
