Mads Emil Matthiesen has had a varied career in the healthcare and technology sectors. Mads Emil's experience began in 2009 when they became the Owner of Healthcare Ventures ApS. In 2010, they became the Chief Executive Officer of CathVision. In 2013, they Co-founded and managed BioRepeller and was an Associate Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. In 2014, they Co-founded FindZebra, became a Resident at Nest Copenhagen, and was appointed President of the Copenhagen branch of Innovation Forum. In 2016, they Co-Founded Antag Therapeutics and in 2018 they became an Advisor at PanCryos. Most recently in 2019, they became a Co-founder of Allos Pharma.
Mads Emil Matthiesen has a diverse educational background. Mads Emil attended the University of Maryland as an exchange student in 2009 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. From 2007 to 2010, they attended both the Technical University of Denmark and the University of Copenhagen, earning a Bachelor of Science in Medicine & Technology (Biomedical Engineering). Mads Emil then went on to earn a Master of Science in the same field from both universities from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they were a Special Student at both Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, studying Design of Medical Devices & Implants.
