Sophia White is an experienced environmental manager with a strong background in sustainability and carbon management. Currently serving as Programme Lead for Toitū Envirocare's SDG programme and technical advisor for all Toitū programmes, Sophia has previously held positions as a Sustainability Advisor and Technical Advisor in carbon and sustainability. At Antarctica New Zealand since September 2020, Sophia focuses on environmental management. Prior experience includes a role as a Sustainability Consultant at Arup, where expertise in corporate strategy, carbon footprinting, and sustainability appraisals was developed. Sophia's academic background includes a Master of Science in Geoscience from Durham University, complemented by research projects and roles in geoscience consultancy.
