Olivier Simon

Olivier SIMON currently serves as an Expert in civil and port engineering at Antea Group in France, providing project support and actively participating in BIM development since June 2021. Simultaneously, Olivier has been involved with the Université de Nantes since 1999, teaching BIM modeling and methods for the realization of civil engineering works. Olivier has held significant roles at Groupe ETPO, including Director of the technical studies office from December 2008 to March 2021 and Coordinator of project studies from June 1992 to December 2008. Educational qualifications include a degree in Mechanical Construction and Civil Engineering from Centrale Nantes, advanced studies in Structures and Methods from Pierre and Marie Curie University, and a certificate in reinforced and pre-stressed concrete from CHEC Centre des Hautes Etudes de la Construction. Additionally, Olivier has served as Secretary General of the Association les Amis d'Henry Simon since its inception in May 1990, promoting the work of painter Henry Simon.
