Crystal Garcia

Crystal Garcia, M.S., serves as the Coordinator of Equity Programs at Antelope Valley College since January 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing equity program operations and developing culturally responsive workshops to enhance student retention and graduation rates. Previous roles at the college include Program Specialist/Umoja Co-Coordinator, managing a $1.9 million budget, and Program Specialist-Student Life, providing leadership for student governance. Crystal also holds a position as Community Partner Director at Living Word Worship Center, focusing on DEI and social justice initiatives. As a Creative Consultant for CS#arp Designs, Crystal offers expertise in graphic design and marketing. Crystal's educational background includes a Master of Science in Leadership and Management, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration, and an Associate of Science in Business/Commerce.
