Shannon Brooks has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 as a Police Cadet for the Yes! Program Monrovia Police Department. In 2009, Shannon became a Guatemala Senior Women National Soccer Player, showcasing their athletic abilities. Shannon then worked as a Hardware Worker at Hardware Hanks in 2012, demonstrating excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Moving on to the City of Lancaster in 2013, Shannon held the role of Recreation Leader. Shannon also worked at Chivas USA in 2013 as part of the Chivas USA Academy, where they took on various responsibilities, including assisting senior directors, managing game-day events, and creating a marketing campaign. Shannon then joined Antelope Valley Partners for Health in 2014 as the Associate Director - Communication, HR & Executive Coordinator, contributing to community health and wellness initiatives. Finally, from 2016 to 2019, Shannon served as a Promotion Team Member for the Lancaster JetHawks, ensuring a fun and safe experience for fans while providing exceptional customer service.

Shannon Brooks, MCM, MSHRM, has a diverse education background. In 2005, they graduated from Monrovia High School with a high school diploma in General Studies. Shannon went on to pursue their undergraduate degree at North Dakota State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree between the years 2009 and 2013. The field of study for their bachelor's degree is unknown.

Shannon continued their education by enrolling at the University of Southern California. From 2018 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Communication Management. Following this, they further enhanced their qualifications by completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources at the same university in 2019.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Shannon has obtained various certifications. In December 2011, they became CPR & FIRST AID certified. In June 2014, they acquired certifications in Concussion in Sports and Fundamentals of Coaching. Shannon also holds a ServSafe California Food Handler certification, obtained in June 2014. Furthermore, in April 2018, Shannon achieved Banjo Certification, presumably from Banjo, an institution specializing in that field.
