Marius Cernica

Marius Cernica is an experienced journalism professional with a strong focus on international news. Currently serving as the Foreign News Desk Coordinator at Antena 3 since October 2011, Marius coordinates a team of journalists to deliver the latest global news while maintaining communication with correspondents abroad. Previous roles include Foreign News Writer at Antena 1 from January 2017 to June 2020, where Marius covered a wide range of international events, conducted interviews, and swiftly managed breaking news stories. Marius began a career in broadcasting as a collaborator at Radio Romania Cultural, where duties included conducting interviews and preparing a weekly science segment. Marius holds a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Bucharest and is currently pursuing a certificate in Managerial Communication and Image Consulting.
