Jared Jones

Jared Jones is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in tax law and corporate restructuring. Currently serving as Vice President of Tax at Antero Resources since October 2022, Jared previously held the position of Tax Counsel at EOG Resources from November 2016 to October 2022. Prior experience includes a managerial role in M&A Tax at KPMG US, where responsibilities encompassed tax structuring, due diligence, and consulting on corporate reorganizations. Early in Jared's career, work as an Associate Attorney at Shanks & Hauser, LLP involved income tax planning, audit representation, and corporate structuring for small businesses. Jared holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Baylor University, a Master of Accounting from Texas Christian University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Texas Christian University.
