Maria Henry

Maria Henry is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Geology at Antero Resources since June 2018, Maria leads the geology team focused on developing natural gas, NGLs, and oil properties in the Appalachian basin. Prior to this, Maria held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Geology at Raisa Energy LLC and Vice President of Subsurface Acquisitions and Technology, where responsibilities included guiding multi-disciplinary teams on acquisitions and development projects across the U.S. At WPX Energy, Maria managed exploration and business development projects, emphasizing unconventional opportunities in Western North America. With a foundation in both domestic and international geoscience, Maria's career spans back to a Geologist position at BP Amoco, where Maria contributed to successful exploration projects and company growth strategies. Maria holds a BS and MS in Geology from The University of Texas at Austin and Colorado State University, respectively.
