Venture Partner at Anterra Capital

Axel Wehr is a venture partner at Anterra Capital. Axel has also worked with Experimental Group, Lyre's Spirit Co, Fabric Ventures, Anterra Capital, Firestartr, and Bain Capital. Between 2009 and 2014, they were an associate with Bain Capital's global private equity team. In this role, they were involved in the buy-out of Securitas Direct, the sale of FCI's automotive connector division to Delphi Automotive, and the refinancing and secondary stock sales following the buy-out of NxP Semiconductors. Axel also provided operational support to Warner Music Group, Maisons du Monde, and FCI. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Axel worked as a summer analyst with Morgan Stanley in 2008.

Axel Wehr's educational career includes completing an A.B. at Princeton University in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs with a concentration in finance. Additionally, they have completed a digital marketing program at Squared Online and holds a degree in economics from the University of Cape Town.
