Jana Budkovskaja

Jana Budkovskaja has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Jana is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Beamline Accelerator, where they focus on impactful innovation, policies, systematic sustainability, and accelerating cleantech startups.

Prior to this, Jana worked as a Partner at The Better Fund, where they played a vital role in the organization's operations. Jana also served as a Founding Partner at OBJEKT is Narva future business hub, contributing to the establishment and development of the business hub.

Jana's earlier experiences include working as a Managing Partner at Tech Heroes Club, where they led a STEM-based TV program aimed at inspiring curiosity and showcasing the challenges faced by experts in the technology sector. Jana also served as the CEO of Prototron fund, a tech-start-up fund that provided financing for teams with high growth potential in the technology sector.

Additionally, Jana held the position of an Advisor of Development at the Regional Administration of Ida-Viru and the Local Municipality of Mäetaguse, where they provided advisory support for development initiatives.

Jana Budkovskaja earned a Master of Science degree in Environmental Physics from the University of Tartu in 2010. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Innovation and Sustainability at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, projected to be completed in 2024.
