Yukiko Higa

Yukiko Higa is an experienced Process Development Engineer at Antheia, Inc. since January 2020, with a strong background in process engineering and scientific research. Prior roles include Process Engineer III at Amyris, focusing on downstream purification processes, and previous positions at Amyris and Novvi, LLC, where responsibilities encompassed odor analysis and formulations for industrial lubricants. Early experience at Genentech involved cleaning verification in a GMP environment, while internships and research roles at Amyris, UC Berkeley, and The University of Tokyo contributed to expertise in RNA-seq method development and microfluidic device applications. Yukiko Higa holds a Master of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from UC Irvine and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
