Jason Barry

Jason Barry has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Jason started their career at Target Australia as an Assistance Store Manager in 2003 and then moved on to become a Store Manager at EB Games Australia in 2005. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Broadridge Financial Solutions, first as a Support Engineer and then as a Technical Consultant / Data Engineer. In 2011, they joined General Pants Group Pty Ltd as a Senior Systems Analyst and Data Engineer. In 2012, they worked as an ADF Technical Consultant and Data Engineer at Allocate Software plc. Jason then joined Commonwealth Bank as a Data Engineer and Data Consultant on a contract basis in 2013. Their next role was as a Senior Technical Analytics Consultant at Blackboard Analytics from 2015 to 2020. Jason then progressed to a role as Principal Technical Analytics Consultant and Analytics Engineer at the same company from 2020 to 2022. Am currently, they are working at Anthology Inc as a Lead Principal Technical Consultant, Lead Analytics Developer, Subject Matter Expert, and Architect.

Jason Barry earned a Graduate degree in Computer Programming, Specific Applications from Charles Sturt University in 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology - Software Development from the same institution in 2017. In 2011, they completed a Diploma of Business in Business Administration and Management from TAFE NSW, and in 2010, they completed a Diploma of Information Technology in Project Management from the same institution. Additionally, Jason has obtained multiple certifications from various institutions including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Pyramid Analytics, LinkedIn, and Databricks.
