Jas Tamber

He is a partner in the care team, sector lead for private legal services, and head of the children’s team here at Anthony Collins Solicitors. He specialise in cases where a local authority seeks to remove children into state care, particularly cases involving foreign jurisdictions, murder, radicalisation and allegations of non-accidental injury to children. He will often be asked to represent the children involved.

He qualified as a solicitor in July 2005 and have almost exclusively specialised in care proceedings since then. He was awarded the Hershman/Levy Prize for Outstanding Newcomer in Family Law by the Association of Lawyers for Children in 2010 and admitted to the Law Society Children Panel the same year. He represent parents and children in all levels of court at first instance from magistrates to the High Court.
