Carmen Carpintero has a diverse range of work experience in the travel and events industry. Carmen started their career in 2006 as an Associate Curator at Certosa e Museo di San Martino. Carmen then worked as an Activity Coordinator at ATC Language Schools in 2008. From 2009 to 2013, they served as an Assistant General Manager of Operations at Toledo Paisajes. In 2014, they held the position of Assistant General Manager of Operations at GLOBAL PASSION EVENTS SL, an agency specializing in the MICE sector. Carmen Carpintero worked as a Tour Director at EF Educational Tours from 2016 to 2020, where they led high school student groups traveling in Europe. In 2015, they became a Licensed Tourist Guide at CEFAPIT. Carmen joined Anthony Travel in 2017 as a Team Liaison/Tour Director/ Operations Coordinator for International Sports Tours and Events. Currently, they are also involved with the International Handball Federation, serving as a Team Liaison for both the Women's National Handball Team of Slovenia and the Women's National Handball Team of Argentina.
Carmen Carpintero has a diverse education history. Carmen obtained a Master's degree in International Sports Management from the European Sport Business School in the years 2021 to 2022. Prior to this, they pursued a Master's degree in Cultural Heritage Management at the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha from 2008 to 2009. In their undergraduate years from 2000 to 2006, Carmen earned a University Degree in Art History from the same university. Additionally, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Conservazione dei Beni Culturali at the Università degli Studi di Salerno from 2004 to 2005.
In addition to their formal degrees, Carmen has also obtained certifications. In 2015, they obtained the "Guía Oficial de Turismo" certification from the Generalitat Valenciana. Previously, in 2008, they completed the "Curso de Aptitud Pedagógica (CAP)" at the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha.
