Andy Shih is currently a Member of Technical Staff at Anthropic, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Andy was a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Stanford University from September 2019 to March 2024, where involvement in the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Lab took place. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science in the Automated Reasoning Lab from January 2018 to June 2019, and internships at Google and Qualcomm in software engineering roles during the summer of 2016 and 2017. Andy obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at UCLA in 2017, followed by a Master of Science in Computer Science at UCLA in 2019, and completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science at Stanford University in 2024.
