Operations Generalist at Anthropic

Miranda Zhang has a diverse work experience. In 2019, they worked as a Potter Fellow/MAPSCorps Intern at MAPSCorps. Miranda also served as an Ambassador at FLIK, a community hub for female founders and leaders. In 2020, they were a Legislative and Communications Aide at the New York City Council, where they handled various tasks, including drafting press materials and managing social media accounts. Miranda was also involved in the UChicago Student Government and served as a Committee Member on the Committee on Campus Sustainability. Miranda was a Copyeditor and Contributing Writer for The Gate at UChicago from 2018 to 2020.

Miranda's work experience also includes roles at The Centre for Effective Altruism, where they served as a Campus Specialist Intern and played a key role in organizing fellowships and growing the UChicago EA group. Miranda was a New York Public Affairs Intern at SKDK, where they managed responsibilities for multiple clients, compiled relevant media clips, and developed pitches and press releases. Additionally, Miranda was the Deputy Organizing Lead for the Pierina Sanchez for New York City Council 2021 campaign, where they led field organizing efforts and managed volunteer recruitment and engagement.

More recently, Miranda joined Anthropic in 2022 as an Operations Generalist.

Miranda Zhang completed their Bachelor's degree in Public Policy at the University of Chicago from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they attended Sevenoaks School from 2015 to 2017, where they pursued the International Baccalaureate program. Earlier in their education, Miranda studied at King George V School from 2010 to 2015, but specific degrees or fields of study were not mentioned.

In addition to their formal education, Miranda obtained additional certifications. In February 2020, they acquired a certification titled "What is Graphic Design?" from LinkedIn. Furthermore, in January 2019, they completed the Mental Health First Aid USA certification offered by the National Council for Behavioral Health.
