Sally Aldous

Sally Aldous is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Head of Corporate and Policy Communications at Anthropic since November 2023. Previously, Sally held the position of Director of Communications at Meta from May 2018 to August 2023, where oversight included proactive and reactive communications addressing critical issues such as safety, civil rights, and misinformation. Prior to that, Sally worked at Facebook UK as the Communications Lead for Brussels, handling EMEA safety and privacy communications. Additional roles include Communications Manager at Twitter and Associate Director at Blue Rubicon, where strategic communications initiatives were developed for high-profile organizations. Sally’s early career involved senior press officer roles at the Department of Culture, Media and Sport and the Department of Health, focusing on significant public events and health communications. Sally holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and History from Goldsmiths, University of London.
